Jodhpur (Rajasthan) [India], May 25 (ANI): As India sends multi-party delegations to key world capitals to show the country's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and expose Pakistan as a sponsor of terrorism, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Sunday that the whole country stood up as one voice after the Pahalgam terror attack and asserted that there is also a limit to tolerance.
On delegations of MPs visiting various nations for OperationSindoor global outreach, Khan told reporters, 'After Pahalgam, the whole country stood up as one voice. We have clearly stated our resolve regarding the incident in Pahalgam. There is also a limit to tolerance. We will not tolerate this anymore... Our leadership, our Prime Minister, our army, has given a befitting reply. I think that there is an atmosphere in the whole country, leaders from all political parties are in different countries, explaining that we will not tolerate the killing of innocents like this...'
This comes after India and Pakistan reached an agreement of cessation of hostilities, halting the recent conflict, which occured after the launch of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Army in response to the deadly Pahalgam terrorist attack that claimed 26 civilian lives, mostly tourists.
The delegations aims to brief international partners on India's response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and its broader fight against cross-border terrorism while engaging with world leaders.
The multi-party delegation, consisting of seven groups led by one MP each, has been initiated to counter global misinformation and highlight India's zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.
The seven group of delegations will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria, the UK, France, Germany, the EU, Italy, Denmark, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, the UAE, Liberia, Congo, Sierra Leone, the US, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, Russia, Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
India had launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POJK).
The Indian Armed Forces responded effectively to subsequent Pakistani aggression and pounded its airbases. The two countries have reached an understanding to stop military action following a call made by Pakistan's DGMO to his Indian counterpart. (ANI)
